Interview with Vishal

Where do you come from?
I am from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
When is your birthday? How old are you?
My birthday is 22nd April 1982. I am 27 years old.
Do you have any memories of your birthday?
Last year, I celebrated my birthday here on the SEDS farm. It was far away from home and everything I am familiar with. But it has to be the most memorable birthday I have had.
Which color you like? Why?
I like blue and black. I like to wear black because it is easy to mix with any other color.
What do you like to eat?
I really like meat. I like to eat western food like pizza and hamburger. My favorite food is BBQ.
We heard that you are a good bike racer. Is that true?
No…….No…….but I used to race four wheelers like cars back home. I was very much into it with some of my friends. We would put our money together and rent the racing circuit and race our cars. It was lots of fun racing cars and also very dangerous but we were very careful on the track. We never raced on the normal roads J
What is your work in SEDS? What is your opinion about your work in SEDS?
I am helping Manil and Rajen to run the farm and also I am learning more from them about how the organization works. I am also helping Rashna in the V.T.C. My opinion about my work in SEDS is that I love my work truly. Because I find this program very interesting and I learn a lot every day.
What is the relation between you and Rajen Sir’s family?
I am Manil’s cousin. Achi, Manil’s mother is my father’s sister. I have lot of respect for them.
Do you have any ambition about your life or something else?
I always wanted to film movies. I also like to make
music with guitar and computer. But right now, I am really looking a lot into the work that SEDS does.
Have you learned any Telugu words? Can you say?
I learned many words. Like EKKADA, AKKADA, PAINA, KURCHO, VARSHAM VASTHUNDI, NA PERU VISHAL.
Are you inspired by any one? Why?
By my father. Because he grew up in a poor family and he had a very hard life. He studied while working at the age of 20.
When are you going to marry? Do you have any girl friends?
I don’t know. Maybe when I have 1 million in my bank account, rupees. No, no, no, I don’t have any girlfriend.
Do you believe in God? Which God?
Yes I believe in God. I believe in all Gods.
What kind of job did you do when you were living in your country?
I worked in film production as casting director. And also worked as a model agent and behind the camera. Filming television commercials.
Did you act in any movie? When?
No, I did not act in any movie but I acted in a T.V commercial when I was 8 years old. It was for a Mercedes Benz & Coffee commercial.
Do you have any enemies in the world?
No.
We heard that you can beat the drums very well. Is that true?
Not as good as Rashna. But I started playing music at the age of 12.
Did you make any songs in your past life?
I had a band when I was 15. I composed so many songs when I was 20.
Do you have your own car in your country? Which brand?
Yes, I had my own car in my Malaysia. It is a Malaysian car called as PROTON SATRIA.
Who is your favorite teacher?
My favorite teacher was our hockey coach who was also our Malay language teacher. He was a very good guy and paid more attention to me.
Which is your favorite subject in your country?
I like English and Malay language which is called as BAHASA or MELAYU
Do you have any brothers or sisters in your family?
I have one older sister. She is living in Australia with my mother, and she has a one and half year old baby.
Where have you been in your past life?
I have been to Australia, India and Singapore.
